[APIUM, Malaysia] Seramai empat orang pensyarah daripada Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Walisongo, Semarang, Indonesia telah mengadakan lawatan rasmi ke Akademi Pengajian Islam Universiti Malaya (APIUM). Delegasi pelawat yang diketuai oleh YBrs. Prof. Dr. Abdul Ghofur (Dekan Fakultas Syariah dan Hukum), Dr. Afif Noor (Wakil Dekan), Dr. Supangat dan Dr. Ahmad Adib Rofiuddin (Ketua Prodi Ilmu Falak).
Rombongan pelawat telah disambut oleh Prof. Madya Dr. Muhammad Ikhlas bin Rosele (Ketua Jabatan Fiqh & Usul), Dr. Mohammaddin bin Abdul Niri (Penyelaras Program Falak), Prof. Madya Dr. Mohd Saiful Anwar bin Mohd Nawawi, Dr. Raihana binti Abdul Wahab dan Dr. Mohd Hafiz bin Mohd Saadon. Majlis turut dihadiri oleh YBrs. Dekan APIUM, Profesor Dr. Mohd Fauzi bin Hamat, Dr. Mohamad Azrien bin Mohamed Adnan, Timbalan Dekan (Ijazah Dasar), dan En. Mat Razi bin Abd Talib (Staf Bahagian Pentadbiran APIUM).
Dalam majlis sambutan pelawat yang dipengerusikan oleh YBrs. Dekan APIUM, beliau mengalu-alukan kehadiran pelawat daripada Fakultas Syariah dan Hukum, UIN Walisongo, Semarang, Indonesia ke APIUM. Beliau kemudian memperkenalkan barisan pengurusan APIUM yang hadir dan para pensyarah jabatan yang hadir. Para pelawat juga diberi taklimat ringkas mengenai program-program pengajian yang ditawarkan di APIUM dan kerjasama yang boleh diadakan dalam bidang penyelidikan. Perbincangan turut memfokuskan kepada rancangan penawaran program Dual Sarjana di antara UIN Walisongo dengan APIUM khususnya untuk Program Sarjana Syariah.
Dalam ucapan penutup oleh wakil delegasi pelawat, YBrs. Dekan Fakultas Syariah dan Hukum, Prof. Dr. Abdul Ghofur berterima kasih atas kesudian pihak APIUM menerima lawatan mereka dan memberi taklimat mengenai APIUM dan berharap agar kedua-dua institusi dapat berkerjasama dalam bidang akademik, khususnya dalam menjayakan program Dual Sarjana.

13 NOVEMBER 2024 – VISIT OF STATE ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY (UIN) WALISONGO, SEMARANG, INDONESIA TO THE ACADEMY OF ISLAMIC STUDIES, UNIVERSITY OF MALAYA.
As many as four lecturers from Universiti Islam Negeri (UIN) Walisongo, Semarang, Indonesia have made an official visit to the Academy of Islamic Studies of the Universiti Malaya (APIUM). A delegation of visitors led by YBrs. Prof. Dr. Abdul Ghofur (Dean Faculty of Shariah and Law), Dr. Afif Noor (Vice Dean), Dr. Supangat and Dr. Ahmad Adib Rofiuddin (Chief of Falak Ilmu Prodi).
Entourage of visitors was welcomed by Prof. Madya Dr. Muhammad Ikhlas bin Rosele (Head of the Fiqh & Usul Department), Dr. Mohamedin bin Abdul Niri (Coordinator of Falak Program), Prof. Among Dr. Mohd Saiful Anwar bin Mohd Nawawi, Dr. Raihana daughter of Abdul Wahab and Dr. Mohd Hafiz bin Mohd Saadon. The ceremony was also attended by YBrs. Dean of APIUM, Professor Dr. Mohd Fauzi bin Hamat, Dr. Mohamad Azrien bin Mohamed Adnan, Deputy Dean (Basic Degree), and Mr. Mat Razi bin Abd Talib (APIUM Administrative Division Staff).
In the reception of visitors chaired by YBrs. Dean of APIUM, he welcomed the presence of visitors from the Faculty of Syariah and Law, UIN Walisongo, Semarang, Indonesia to APIUM. He then introduced the present line of APIUM management and the present department lecturers. The visitors were also briefed on the study programmes offered at APIUM and the collaborations that can be held in the field of research. The discussion also focused on the draft offer of Dual Bachelor program between UIN Walisongo and APIUM specifically for Syariah Bachelor Program.
In the closing speech by the representative of the visiting delegation, YBrs. Dean of the Faculty of Syariah and Law, Prof. Dr. Abdul Ghofur is grateful for the willingness of APIUM for accepting their visit and briefing about APIUM and hopes that both institutions can work together in academic field, especially in making the Dual Bachelor program a success.
